Kevin Moody is a seasoned professional with over 22 years of progressive experience in the field of finance. Known for his expertise in Digital Finance Transformation, Kevin brings a unique blend of consulting and industry experience to his role. He has a strong passion for maximizing the value of the Office of Finance for his clients, and his focus on building sustainable business relationships ensures that he is dedicated to helping clients achieve their business goals.
Prior to joining Black Diamond Advisory, Kevin served as a Partner in KPMG Canada’s Management Consulting Practice. In this role, he was instrumental in leading digital transformation initiatives for clients, specifically within the finance function. As the Western Canada Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) and Global OneStream Lead for KPMG, Kevin specialized in working with CFOs and Finance leaders across Canada to implement modern systems and processes that improved their close and reporting cycles, planning and budgeting activities, and enhanced analytical capabilities. He possesses extensive experience across various industries, with particular expertise in retail, energy and natural resources, utilities, and manufacturing.
In his new role as Managing Director at Black Diamond, Kevin will spearhead the expansion of the firm’s operations in Canada and the Western United States. Leveraging his in-depth industry knowledge and practical insights, he will provide clients with innovative and realistic solutions to elevate their organizations to new heights. His appointment reinforces Black Diamond’s commitment to delivering exceptional financial consulting services and underscores the firm’s dedication to client success.
