EIS was in a constant state of growth through acquisition and they had no enterprise CPM. Their excel process was manual which led to lost time and efficiency and was prone to formula errors. Currency translation and Intercompany Eliminations were all manual. Using many tools such as Blackline for Account Reconciliations, Excel for consolidations and planning, and Sisense for Reporting created integration and visibility challenges. Consolidations was a “must-have” with the real goal of creating forward looking budgets and forecasts longer term. Excel was not providing the level of visibility they needed to analyze Actuals. Ultimately, they wanted to drill back to their source systems.

• By person labor planning model, a direct connect to ADP for employee/workforce information and insight.
• By asset class capital expenditure model that calculates depreciation based on class depreciable life.
• Created an M&A event model with adjustable event date and full IS/BS costs water-falling from event date.
• Built revenue model that incorporates raw material pricing, allows for YoY price/mix/volume attribution.
• Allowed for balance sheet modeling providing DSO/DIO/DPO inputs to drive working capital, debt schedule planning, prepaids/accruals driven by % of sales, and roll forward level of detail for fixed assets.
