The leaders of Black Diamond have owned and built several of the largest finance system consulting firms in the industry. This new company is intentionally different. Shauna offers over 17 years of functional and program leadership experience in national and international software implementations. She effectively managed and delivered over 20 complex performance management projects. She ensures client success by being a dedicated partner to the client. She believes successful projects are achieved based on frequent and concise communication, transparency, and discipline. .

Shauna’s Why:

JASON KARBER

Jason is a Black Diamond practice manager. Over an 18 year career at Koch Industries, he ranged from transactional accounting and ledger ownership to complex consolidation and leadership roles at multiple business divisions and industries. He has reputation for customer focus and driving change. By writing the business case for OneStream and overseeing the replacement of legacy technology, he has coordinated entire organizations digital transformation. His customer spectrum includes finance staff, controllerships, information technology and C-Suite executives.

MIKE VANNONI

Mike uses his experience to guide clients through transformational OneStream projects. Vincent, Chartered Accountant and Solution Architect, specializes in OneStream encompassing enterprise. JOE TOMLIN

Joe offers over 15 years of business and technical experience in financial consolidations and reporting. His expertise in consolidation and account reconciliations transports the client success to life when implementing OneStream.

MARK GOODMAN

Mark has 20+ years of experience in the EPM space specializing in consolidations working with OneStream, HFM, and FDM/FDMEE. He has a proven track record of blending finance and IT by combining Big Four auditing background with software programming skills. He has end to end experience including leading design sessions, metadata and rules build, mapping/data integration, knowledge transfer, reports build, end-user training, and post-go-live support.

SHERRI SCHAFFROTH

Sherri brings over 20 years’ experience in strategic new business development, marketing, and sales of software and services in the Commercial and Government sectors. She is a Managing Partner of Black Diamond and a former Director of Sales and Marketing, serving several Alliance Partners for IBM, Oracle, and OneStream.

Prior to her Alliance experience, Sherri served on the Corporate Leadership Round Table, was consistently nominated to Elite President’s Club Membership, and was awarded a US Commercial Sales Innovation Award, as a result of accomplishments at SAS, IBM, and Oracle.

DAMON MITTLEIDER

Damon is one of Black Diamond’s founding partners and leads the Product Development Group. As a technical leader in the CPM community for over 20 years, Damon has designed and architected over 50 complex technical solutions across the world.  He is Black Diamond’s OneStream Marketplace development leader and his innovative solutions on the OneStream platform have had a tremendous impact on finance and the business.

RANDY WERDER

Randy brings over 30 years of business and industry experience to Black Diamond. He is a Co-Founder of Black Diamond. Formerly, Randy was the Managing Director of Alithya’s OneStream Practice. He was one of the original members of Ranzal & Associates where he served in many leadership roles including Southeast Planning & Essbase Leader for delivery and Managing Director of the Advisory Practice. As an implementation thought leader, Randy has guided over 150 global clients in re-engineering their outdated planning processes into industry-leading successful solutions.

CARL YOST

Carl brings more than 25 years of experience in business consulting to help clients transform their financial and business application processes. He is Co-Founder of Black Diamond and former Managing Principal of Grant Thornton’s Technology Solutions Practice. Prior to joining Grant Thornton, he was a partner and co-founder of MarketSphere Consulting, serving many leadership roles including chief operating officer and national industry leader. Having served organizations in multiple industries and varying sizes, Carl’s expertise in finance and operations has led him to develop best practices and thought leadership leveraged across several industries. Prior to founding MarketSphere, Carl was a Partner in the Enterprise Performance Management practice of Arthur Andersen and held senior finance executive positions at Motorola and Wyeth.
