Day One of OneStream Splash 2026 is officially in the books, and Orlando did not disappoint. Between the partner session roadmap reveal, the Vision Keynote on the main stage, and a Partner Night Out that ran later than I’d like to admit, there is a lot to unpack.
So grab a coffee (I am) and let’s get into it.

Partner Session: The Roadmap Reveal
The partner session is where the curtain pulls back, and this year did not hold back. Just a few of many highlights:
- SensibleAI Studio. The “Infuse AI in Every Workflow” pitch is finally less tagline, more product. Turnkey, no-code routines (anomaly detection, classification, clustering, generative AI, regression) plus pre-built solutions for Account Recs, Narrative Analysis, and System Diagnostics.
- Native Agents or MCP? Same foundation, either way. Two front doors, one architecture. Whether your team lives in Excel or wants to bring their own AI through Claude, Copilot, or OpenAI, everything runs through the Agentic Gateway with identity, governance, and audit baked in. (Pick the one that meets the user where they already work. Music to a consultant’s ears.)

- Revenue Performance Management (RPM). The new “eliminate the revenue blindspot” play. Sales Performance Management meets Revenue Insights, all on the OneStream platform. Sales and finance on one platform? Tell me more. Shout out to our recent partnership with Infinity SPM in this space. Come by to learn more.

- Developer Experience. Developer Studio is going GA, with support for VS Code, Cursor, and other IDEs. Web Applications are on the roadmap. Builders rejoice.
The AI Breakout schedule for Tuesday and Wednesday is already a FOMO machine. I cannot be in four rooms at once (maybe there’s an agent for that).

The Vision Keynote: “30x. It’s Time for Finance”

The main stage delivered this year. “30x” up on the screen and a packed room you could feel the energy in.
A few moments that stuck:
- Investing in the Core: Efficiency you can see. The platform can consume more data, faster. 20x faster data ingest, 4x faster consolidations, and 20x faster Cube Views and responsive grid UX. Those are not small numbers. Anyone who has watched a consolidation spin during close knows exactly what this hour-per-month math feels like.

- Genesis 2.0 brought new content building blocks to the table: more out-of-the-box pieces to assemble solutions faster.
- The AI Paradox. This was the slide that earned the audible reaction. AI without structure just leads to chaotic decisions, faster. Poor data quality, no audit trail, bias and hallucinations, security and regulatory risk. All real. OneStream’s answer is doubling down on a platform where AI sits on a governed, unified data foundation, with the flexibility to choose your own agent model. Whether it’s OpenAI, Claude, Copilot, or OneStream native, the call is yours. Anyone who has tried to plug a chatbot into a finance dataset and watched it confidently lie knows exactly why this matters.
- The throughline: finance can’t be a backward-looking, reflective function anymore. The platform is being built to help finance steer the business forward, not narrate the past.
Partner Night Out: Where the Real Work Happens
Look, the sessions are the headline. But honestly? One of the best parts of Splash is seeing current and former coworkers, reconnecting with old clients, and meeting people in person who I usually only see as tiles on a Teams call. The hallway conversations and the after-hours hangs are where the real work happens.
Got to catch up with partners, clients, and a few familiar faces from past lives in the OneStream world. Met new people doing genuinely cool things. We capped the night watching Disney fireworks light up the skyline from the Dahliah Lounge. (My fireworks photography – not included for a reason? Let’s just say I’ll try to bring my A-game tomorrow night. Possibly a tripod.)

BDA’s Cocktail Event at the Dahlia Lounge

Day One Takeaways
If I had to boil six hours of conference into three lines:
- AI is not a feature anymore. It’s the platform thesis. SensibleAI, Native Agents, MCP, Agentic Gateway. The architecture is real, the governance story is real, and the bring-your-own-model approach is exactly what finance teams need.
- The core is getting faster. 20x is a headline number, but the underlying message is that performance and UX are not afterthoughts. They’re the foundation everything else is built on.
- Splash is about the people. The roadmap is great, the keynote is great, but reconnecting with old colleagues, current clients, and partners across the ecosystem? That’s the real ROI.
Day Two starts early. Coffee is non-negotiable. Come find the BDA team at Booth 9 for demos. We’d love to walk you through what we’re building and give you a demo. If you’re around tomorrow night, come hang with us at Partner Night Out at 7pm at Atlantic Dance Hall. Drinks, dancing, and (hopefully) better fireworks pics.
