Cameron shared, “Two things I found to be innovative. One was the notion of relational blending, which is a OneStream thing, but the fact that it is dynamically built in cube. It wasn’t just a relational layer that did stuff and loaded the results into a cube. It’s very difficult to tell where one starts and the other ends.” Damon responded, “You know I think OneStream, just the technology that underlies where it is, you know… there’s relational data. OneStream gives you advantages that Hyperion just never had. Being able to build a solution that can take advantage, where necessary, of each of those, you can make something very performant because you don’t have to do everything in cube.”
Product Highlights
Damon also highlights the innovative solutions he has developed, such as the PartnerPlace core technology and productivity bundle. He built a parent-child dimension builder that deletes, sorts, moves, and shares dimensions in OneStream. Another impressive feature of his solutions is the security manager, showcasing Damon’s ability to enhance both functionality and security within OneStream implementations.
